About the chaos.

I'm Benjamin. I live in Melbourne, Australia, and I make things while Blaze watches me do it.

This site is a project log. Every time I build something, fix something, or try a marketing idea, it gets a dated entry. Some of it is DIY, some of it is craft, some of it is working out why a reel did or did not land.

I started it because I kept losing track of what I had made. A spreadsheet was not working. A website, it turns out, does.

The long version

A short timeline.

  1. 2000 Born. Started doing stuff. No memory of it, but I am told the doing had begun.
  2. 2008 Built a whole lot of Lego Instructions optional. The doing was the point.
  3. 2015 Played far too many video games Hours that could have been making hours. I regret nothing.
  4. 2020 The dark times Not much building happened. A lot of thinking did.
  5. 2023 Started my business studies Turns out the marketing side is a project of its own.
  6. 2024 Had the idea for BDS Benjamins Doing Stuff. A name and a plan, in that order.
  7. 2026 Blaze arrived A small cat with big opinions about which projects get finished.
